After setting up the initial visit to your home, listening and giving careful consideration to your vision, the next step is to do a very simple feasibility analysis to determine an extent of scope that makes sense to continue with the process. You will be able to garner from our many years of experience and a multitude of successfully completed projects a realistic “ball park” on the spot verbal estimate that takes into account your unique and specific scope. After determining that the extent of scope can realistically be met we can then move on to the design phase.

At this point you are only committing to the cost and production of preliminary plans. Once all details of the building project are decided and final building plans are achieved then we can provide a real and true, line item, comprehensive bid.

Of course during the design phase we look forward to having established a very positive relationship through the many practical and creative design suggestions that will no doubt have surfaced in our various meetings. Feel free to extract from the meetings all the latest and most practical energy, environmental and green building methods that may have a practical and very low cost application to your specific design and or existing conditions. We’ll make sure to pass on from our continuing education classes all practical options available.

We will then offer you our client referral list and or set up appointments for you to visit past projects similar to yours so you can meet them in person, ask them any questions, and see first hand the quality of workmanship that we produce.

We can then move into the pre-construction phase where we will then prepare all necessary documents and schedules and determine a start and finish date for your project.
