So, how do we get started? Well, if you're coming
to see Masterpiece Remodeling & Design, you're considering
improving your existing space, like adding a room, while keeping
your neighborhood ties. Between us, we'll work through ideas
and plans to get your home how you want it. You'll have to
put up with some construction at some point, but not to worry,
we'll work around your schedule and be very mindful and protective
of any children and pets. The "during" images along
the left hand side look messy, but the end result is well
worth it...so, to get started, here's how our job process
works:
Phase 1:
1. Phone call to our office, 512-338-4220.
2. Preliminary meeting and site evaluation.
3. Rough estimate based on understanding of project.
4. Verbal intent to proceed.
5. Design and Consultation contract to begin design and blueprints.
6. Original floor plan entered into CAD and measurements verified.
7. Standing weekly or bi-monthly meetings set for design, costing, and color/material
selection process.
8. Process continues until budget, design, and material selection merit final
plans.
At this point customer and contractors are very clear of
project limitations, costs, and each others personalities.
We get to know you to make sure each project is more of you
than just your financial input.
Phase 2:
1. Contact our clients and previous job sites that have a
similar scope as your project.
2. Complete final plans.
3. Calendar schedule all construction, including allowances.
4. Agree and sign final contracts and paperwork by both parties.
5. Draw up all structural documents.
6. Complete material descriptions and specifications sheet.
7. Have pre-construction meeting with client, supervisor,
salespeople.
8. Have construction meeting amongst Masterpiece staff.
9. Provide calendar and job schedule to everyone involved
in project.
10. Begin construction on your project...
