Sotol Cove
This was a house built on a steep hill with a spectacular view, but the backyard was unusable space for kids to play or friends to gather. The challenge was to create an usable and practical area for the family to enjoy. The final product was a large stained concrete 2nd story deck with a fireplace, cooking area, rock columns and walls, a high vaulted ceiling, and a 300 square foot exercise room below and with large windows to enjoy the view. Now there is plenty of room for family and friends, a personal workout room with a view, and a place to relax and watch the world go by front the top of the hill.
