This customer wanted a room protected from the elements (weather, mosquitoes, etc), but as open as possible. Casement windows and screens, beaded board, stained pine floors and lots of cubby holes for kids stuff was the perfect solution. Adding 2 sets of French doors made this the perfect transition area between the kitchen and living room for informal gatherings as well as fairly large parties.
