Masterpiece’s founder, Rick Dowden, is a longtime central Austin resident and has designed and remodeled over 400 homes and businesses. In 2004, Rick teamed with Leonard Maya of Maya Building Company to provide Masterpiece with over 50 years of combined experience. From the initial design to construction completion, we have your project under control and expertly managed. Masterpiece received the award for Best Large Project in 2004 for Austin and the surrounding areas and the Contractor of the Year Award from Austin NARI (National Association of Remodeling Industry) for the Best Residential Remodel in the under $100,000 category in 2005 for the entire Region 5 area, which includes 8 states.
